We eventually went through a phase where we decided we had to play some cover tunes in order to get a few gigs and relate to more people. So, we decided that if we were going to stoop to such depths!!..lol ... we would do really cool tunes that we all liked (and ofcourse, with our own twist.)

As I recall, there was some sort of a rush on us getting these tunes together for a demo tape for some club owners. We went into the studio one night and literally did all of the tunes ( a total of 8, I believe ) in one take.(except for "Rain", which was recorded at another time) We did the vocals and everything live...And we finished the evening by mixing down all of the songs too...a real marathon session!...We wanted to create a "live club" feel to the songs. It was a bit crazy, but we really had a good time. I wanted to capture some of that, so i even included some of the "between song chatter", false endings, etc.
